MeatEater Auction House of Oddities Back for 2026 and Better Than Ever

We’re excited to announce that the MeatEater Auction House of Oddities is back for 2026 and open for bids now!

For those not familiar, the Auction House is our one-of-a-kind hunting and fishing auction extravaganza featuring eyebrow-raising outdoor gear, mementos, and paraphernalia donated by MeatEater personalities, employees, and friends of the brand, all in the name of raising money for conservation.

100% of proceeds from the Auction House go to MeatEater’s Land Access Initiative, our in-house public lands access campaign that’s laser-focused on making sure hunters and anglers have more opportunity here in the USA.

To date, our Land Access Initiative has helped fund new public land acquisitions such as the recent 200-acre Tuckertown acquisition in North Carolina, the 328-acre Wildcat Bend acquisition along the Yellowstone River in Montana, the 215-acre Shiloh Pond project in Maine, and more.

So when you place your bid on that one-of-a-kind piece of MeatEater history, you can rest assured knowing that your hard-earned dollar will be going to one hell of a good cause.

Speaking of MeatEater History, this year's Auction House inventory is as deep and absurd as it’s ever been. Highlights include:

  • Steve’s Dad’s Shitty Old Truck Full of Badass Hunting Gear: Steve Rinella's dad bought this truck brand new back in 1997. He hunted and fished out of it until he died in 2002, and then Steve hunted and fished out of it as well. Now, it can be yours—along with a pile of badass hunting gear we’re throwing in too—including gift cards for First Lite and the MeatEater Store, Phelps game calls, Dave Smith Decoys, Sig Sauer optics, and personal delivery to your doorstep by MeatEater Director of Conservation Mark Kenyon.
  • The Honda Outboard Motor from Das Boat Season 3: This is the exact Honda 150 VTEC outboard motor used during MeatEater’s fishing series, Das Boat.

  • Clay Newcomb’s Alaskan “Boogie Board Bear” Hide: The tanned hide from the black bear Clay Newcomb harvested in a wetsuit during the SE Alaska hunt featured in Season 12, Episode 1 of MeatEater, filmed alongside Steve Rinella and Randall Williams
  • Fly Fishing Memorabilia from the Personal Collection of Lefty Kreh: Your chance to own a curated piece of fly-fishing history. Donated directly from the estate of legendary fly fisherman Lefty Kreh.
